Content: Decision to appoint three councillors to Witherley Parish Council under delegated powers. That Councillors Martin Cartwright, Cathie Gibbens and Brian Sutton be appointed to Witherley Parish Council and that the Secretary of State be appropriately notified. The number of seats on Witherley Parish Council is 11 but due to a number of recent resignations, there remained only three councillors. The quorum being four councillors rendered the parish council inquorate. The only available option is to make at least one appointment to the parish council to ensure it can continue to make decisions. The alternative options are not viable.
