Content: The Chairman took Members to a vote on the recommendations which were unanimously agreed (noting that the Cabinet Member for Communities and Communications abstained from the vote).   RESOLVED   Cabinet Grants Panel agreed:   1.    That £1,020 from the Community Grants fund be released to the Chichester Diocesan Association for Family Support Work to fund an informal drop-in group for parents and carers of children at the Centenary Hall to tackle social isolation felt by families living in Haywards Heath.   2.    That £ 4,267 from the Community Grants fund be released to the Crawley Down Ladies Choir to fund weekly meetings during term times for choir practice with the aim of holding two concerts annually, at the local Community Centre, The Haven in Crawley Down.   3.    That £5,000 from the Community Grants fund be released to the Ensemble Reza to support rehearsals, an informal concert at the Orchards Shopping Centre, and a ticketed concert in June as part of their 10th anniversary.   4.    That £4,956.50 from the Community Grants fund be released to the Friends of Eastern Road Nature Reserve to fund three projects: tree planting; a 30th anniversary event; and conservation and community engagement.   5.    That £3,680 from the Community Grants fund be released to the IMPACT Foundation to expand current projects and develop new cookery and gardening projects across Mid Sussex.   6.    That £5,000 from the Community Grants fund be released to Rites for Girls to run a programme of free workshops in Haywards Heath to help build girls’ resilience and confidence. This will be in partnership with Bentswood Hub, Oathall Community College and Haywards Heath College.   7.    That £5,000 from the Community Grants fund be released to the South Coast Skate Club CIC to run 25 free skateboard lessons at Burgess Hill skatepark.   8.    That £1,500 from the Community Grants fund be released to the Ukaholics to purchase sound equipment to take their music into more care homes located within Sussex.   9.    That £ 2,940 from the Community Grants fund be released to Time 4 Children to train six new volunteers to become volunteer practitioners. The volunteers will go into schools and offer emotional listening support to children in primary schools across Mid Sussex.   10.  That no grant be awarded to Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre as their application does not meet the criteria of the Community Grants Fund.   11.  That no grant be awarded to CAPITAL Project Trust as their application does not meet the criteria of the Community Grants Fund.   12.  That no grant be awarded to Finley’s Touch as their application does not meet the criteria of the Community Grants Fund.   13.  That no grant be awarded to the Garden Army as their application does not meet the criteria of the Community Grants Fund.   14.  That no grant be awarded to the HEARD as their application does not meet the criteria of the Community Grants Fund.   15.  That no grant be awarded to the Southwood Foundation as their application does not meet the criteria of the Community Grants Fund.
