Purpose:

Content: The Leader of the Council and the Director of Transformation and Change submitted a report to seek Cabinet endorsement of the Wyre Council Transformation Strategy (Appendix 1) and to approve next steps in developing the Wyre Council Transformation Programme.   Sarah highlighted that the Transformation Strategy was the result of extensive engagement with colleagues from across the council through workshops, team meetings and surveys.   She explained that the Strategy set out the overall approach to transformation. Alongside the Strategy, a Transformation Programme was being developed which would identify cross-cutting projects under a number a priority workstreams. The programme would clearly set out how the Strategy would be delivered.   She mentioned that a Transformation Roadmap had been developed to illustrate progress in relation to the transformation journey.   Sarah responded to a question from Councillor Fail regarding resources and the importance of transformation and business analysts.   Decisions   Cabinet agreed:   To endorse the Wyre Council Transformation Strategy (Appendix 1).   To recommend the Wyre Council Transformation Strategy (Appendix 1) to Full Council for consideration in spring 2025.   To approve next steps in developing the Wyre Council Transformation Programme as set out in the Transformation Strategy.
