Content:   Resolved by the Assistant Director – Finance     That a one-year contract be awarded to Coolspirit for the provision of Vcentre Environment & ESX support for the sum of £16,035.20         Following consideration of three quotations in line with the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules, it is proposed to award a contract for 1 year of hardware support of Vcentre Environment & ESX network attached storage support.   The best value quote received was for £16035.20 from Coolspirit. The support is required for essential security updates that may be released to patch security vulnerabilities; this is to ensure compliance.   1. Not to award the contract but that’s not recommended as the support is required for essential security updates.   2. To award the contract to another supplier but that’s not recommended as submitted the best value quotation.
