Purpose: Young Enterprise

Content: Young Enterprise The Council will commit up to £7,950 to procure the services of Young Enterprise of whom will liaise with up to 15 schools across Breckland to implement their “Company Programme”. Each programme will include 20 students from each school. In an instance in which a school is not willing to participate we will offer multiple “Company Programs” to Schools that do wish to partake ensuring we reach our 300-student target or as close to it as possible. This is funded via UKSPF funding. To provide first-hand experience of “The world of work” to students across Breckland through running their own student business. This will help further existing relations with Schools in our District and help to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in Breckland. We went through our standard procurement procedure and Young Enterprise offered what I perceived to be the best value for money and a service that is aligned to our wider skills plan.
