Purpose: This report introduces the Digital Strategy 2025 – 2028 and asks that it is adopted and implemented. The strategy outlines the commitment and ambition that Gloucestershire County Council (the council) has made in embracing the use of technology to improve the lives of staff, members, residents, visitors, and local businesses. Maximising digital capabilities and innovation to create efficiencies and improve performance whilst always having the end user experience at the centre of decision making.

Cllr Stephan Fifield sought Cabinet approval for the proposed new Digital Strategy which will support the delivery of the Council Strategy ‘Building Back Better in Gloucestershire’ 2022 to 2026. Having considered all of the information, Cabinet noted the report and RESOLVED to: Approve the proposed Digital Strategy for the council set out in Appendix 1 of this report and the Digital Roadmap set out in Appendix 2
