Purpose: The Fees and Charges are reviewed each year to ensure the charges approved by the Council accurately reflect the costs involved with providing the service and the environment in which the Council operates. It is the intention of this report to seek approval of the proposed changes for 2025/26 Fees and Charges as set out in Appendix A and B (relating to Building Control charges with also includes a 24-25 increase from 16th December 2024).

Content: The Cabinet Member for Planning and Regulation approved the discretionary Fees and Charges within their portfolio for the Development and Housing Directorate, for 2025/26, as set out in Appendix A and B for implementation on the 1 April 2025 (or when specified i.e. Building Control from 16th December 2024).
