Purpose:

Content: Permission to commence an open procurement exercise for the provision of a Children’s Direct Payment Support Service, commencing 1st April 2025, for an initial term of 12 months, with one optional extension of up to 12 months, up to a maximum value of £276,000 over the full contract terms and a maximum value of £138,000 in the initial term.     To support families to utilise their Direct Payments to support children and young people with disabilities.   To maintain the service whilst a number of related projects and reviews are carried out.   Due to the high level of satisfaction reported with the support   Not to commission the contract.   To introduce a charge for families to use the service.   Commission the contract on a block payment basis.
