Purpose: The mid year review of 2024-25 financial performance report was considered by the Cabinet on 13 November 2024.  In line with Finance Procedure Rules this report seeks formal approval from the Cabinet Member for Legal and Finance for delegated decisions under their authority in relation to capital budgets.

Content: The mid year review of 2024-25 financial performance report was considered by the Cabinet on 13 November 2024.  In line with Finance Procedure Rules this report seeks formal approval from the Cabinet Member for Legal and Finance for delegated decisions under their authority in relation to capital budgets. That:   1)    Capital budget re-profiling of £9.488m from 2024-25 to future years be approved; 2)    Capital budget re-profiling of £0.439m from 2026-27 into 2025-26 be approved; and 3)    Capital budget increases of £0.265m across 2024-25 and 2025-26 be approved. To ensure the Council remains a financially well managed authority, recognising and responding to emerging cost pressures and complying with current accounting requirements. The Cabinet Member for Legal and Finance could choose not to approve the changes however this could put the delivery of the capital programme at risk as well as the capacity to deliver the schemes in full.
