Purpose:

Content: That the Cabinet endorsed the Safeguarding Action Plan as set out at Appendix A. That approval was given for recruitment of an 18 month fixed term post within the Partnerships and Community Engagement to support delivery of the Action Plan and embed safeguarding arrangements across the organisation.  It was proposed that half the costs of this post circa £27k would be met from the Human Resources revenue budget with the balance being met from the contingency budget as set out in para. 7.1 of the report.
