Purpose:

Content: Councillor Barry Rawlings, Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Strategic Partnerships, Economy and Effective Council welcomed Councillor Phil Cohen.   Councillor Cohen, Chair of the Discharge to Assess Task and Finish (T&F) Group presented the report and provided a summary of the work undertaken and the development of the recommendations of the T&F Group. DECISION: RESOLVED that: Cabinet noted the referral from the Adults and Health Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Committee and the recommendations of the Discharge to Assess Task and Finish Group report, as set out in Appendix A. Cabinet requested to ask officers to prepare a report on the Task and Finish Group’s recommendations with full legal, financial, and other comments so that Cabinet may fully consider the recommendations. Cabinet provided a response to the recommendations of the Discharge to Assess Task and Finish Group at a future Cabinet meeting.   The report set out the options considered, if any, and the reasons for the recommendations and the decision.
