Purpose: South Thames Gateway Building Control Partnership’s Business Plan and Delivery Plan for 2025-2028 (dated 19th November 2024 Version 4).

Content: Members considered the report and Business Plan of Director, South Thames Gateway Building Control Partnership.   It was proposed, seconded and, when put to a vote   AGREED to approve a change to the partner authority contribution arrangements to (7.1.3) Option 3 (from 3 options): Payments calculated at forecasted non-chargeable level based on estimated time spent on activities.   Members requested that this option included an end of year review.   Record of the Vote: For: Councillors Burden, Edwards and Gibson (3) Against: none (0) Abstaining: none (0)   It was proposed, seconded and, when put to a vote   AGREED to approve the updated version of the Business Plan on behalf of each partner authority, now incorporating any comments received, prior to a final version, and the formal adoption at the Annual meeting of the Joint Committee held in June, as per the stages set out in the report (7.2)   Record of the Vote: For: Councillors Burden, Edwards and Gibson (3) Against: none (0) Abstaining: none (0)   It was proposed, seconded and AGREED by general assent   The Director, South Thames Gateway Building Control Partnership, will prepare a short briefing note for members to take to MPs for parliament on behalf of the partnership and committee asking for clarity on the BSR auditing arrangements and requested a targeted approach.
