Purpose: The service contract sets out the terms and conditions of the agreement between PartnershipOne Limited, the local authority trading company and the three councils.

Content: RESOLVED   1.     To approve the terms set out in the service contract.   2.     To agree that the three Councils enter into the Contract with PartnershipOne Limited for a 7 year term commencing on 1 February 2025.   3.     That, subject to the terms of the contract, PartnershipOne Limited and the employees of PartnershipOne Limited be authorised to exercise the powers and functions of each of Canterbury City Council, Dover District Council and Thanet District Council in relation to services to be provided by PartnershipOne Limited to the councils under the contract to the full extent permitted by law, in particular by The Deregulation and Contracting Out Act 1994 and the orders and regulations made thereunder as are more particularly set out at Appendix 3.   4.     To approve the ongoing management of the contract by East Kent Services client management function.   5.     To allow the Head of EK Shared Services to be authorised to finalise the detailed provisions of the service contract as required on behalf of Canterbury City Council, Dover District Council and Thanet District Council.
