Purpose: Decision Taken: The Commissioning Governance Board approved the award of contract to H20 Nationwide for an initial contract term of three years plus two 12 months extension options, at the maximum contract term of 5 years for a total contract value of £578,333.47 ex VAT (£694,000.16 inc. VAT), following a competitive tender process. Reasons for Decision: RBK has a statutory duty to carry out water treatment and monitoring of all communal and shared cold water storage tanks across the RBK portfolio. RBK has the responsibility of ensuring residents and communities feel safe and this requires maintaining the water storage facilities to a high standard to prevent water borne diseases such as Legionella and associated issues. The following will be completed by H2O International Ltd. as required: All Health and Safety testing and certification. General inspections, monitoring and reports for faults and failures shall be carried out. All central plants should be fully maintained and operable to ACOP L8 standards including manufacturers recommended warranty products.
