Purpose:

Content: Consideration was given to the recommendation from the Audit and Standards Committee, as contained in Minute 335 of its meeting held on 18 November 2024, in respect of substitute membership of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.   Following which, it was   RESOLVED:   (1) That substitute membership be allowed on Overview and Scrutiny Committee, where requirements in the Constitution, as amended in Appendix 1 of the agenda report, were met; and   (2) That reference to Overview and Scrutiny Committee training for substitute members under Part 4 - Rules of Procedure be amended to include that for avoidance of doubt, standard and financial Overview and Scrutiny Committee training was a requirement.
