Purpose:

Content: To approve receipt and distribution of Grant Funding of £70,000 for  CCTV SSF5 project 107- CCTV cameras project within Stratford-on-Avon District Council. The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner have received government funding in December 2024 from the Government which is to be distributed to Stratford District Council for specific use as detailed below:   5x state of the art re-deployable CCTV cameras will be purchased and deployed into areas of higher crime and public concern. The cameras will be monitored by the CCTV team.   Grant Funding totalling £70,000.00 for SSF5 project 107- CCTV cameras. It is to be used for the period 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025.   The Head of Law and Governance/Monitoring Officer is further delegated to administer the funds in accordance with the terms and conditions of the fund agreement and will work with the Community Safety and CCTV Manager within Law and Governance to ensure this is done before the end of March 2025. 1.   To accept the funds on terms detailed; or 2.   To not accept the funds on terms detailed.
