Purpose:

Content: That the Council will transfer the land to the adjacent residential property owner. The land concerned is a small area off an access road which also belongs to the Council.  It is surplus for the Council, however, is of value to the adjacent owner as it may be incorporated into their garden. The transfer will be restricted to use as garden land only and has been valued by the Council’s external valuers.  The Council’s interests will be protected as the transfer documents will be drafted by its Legal Services.  A capital sum will be received by the Council and all of its costs are to be paid by the purchaser. 1.   Transfer the land as proposed. 2.   Decline to transfer the land.
