Purpose:
Content: To agree the response to the Cotswold National Landscape Management Plan 2025-30 consultation draft. To provide a response from Cheltenham Borough Council, Gloucester City Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council to the consultation. There are already policies in the adopted Joint Core Strategy and the adopted Cheltenham Plan which commit the Council to assessing proposals against the policies set out in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Management Plan including with reference to the latest iteration of the Cotswold AONB Management Plan. Do not respond. However, this would mean that the opportunity to influence the consultation would be missed. Respond on an individual authority basis. However, this would diminish the ability of the authority to emphasise how the three Councils have a track record of working together. N/A Internal including across the planning service. Included consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and Building Control and summarised for Members of the Planning and Liaison Member Working Group.
