Content: The purpose of this decision is to approve the consultation response to the Future Social Housing Rent Policy consultation document. To approve the consultation response as set out in Appendix A – Future Social Housing Rent Policy. The proposed changes to policy are positive with the aim to provide financial stability for Registered Providers to invest in new and existing homes. Option 1: To not respond to the consultation. Reason for Rejection: The proposed changes to policy within the consultation paper will affect the Housing Service and therefore it is important that the Council inputs into any policy decisions made by Government.
