Content: Decision to enter into a GMCA children looked after sufficiency project alongside GM local authorities. The Executive:-   (1)       Note the proposed arrangements for the delivery specialist residential care in Greater Manchester for Looked After Children (“LAC”) and to agree that the Council should continue its due diligence prior to agreeing participation in the scheme.   (2)       Dependent upon due diligence agree to delegate authority to the Chief Executive/Director of Children’s Services in consultation with the portfolio holder for Children and Young People, and City Treasurer to negotiate and finalise the Partnership Agreement and all other contractual and ancillary arrangements.   (3)       Delegate authority to the City Solicitor to enter and complete all documents and agreements necessary to give effect to the recommendations.
