Purpose:
Content: i) To include a new project in the council capital programme, with a value of £19m to build a new 2 Form Entry primary school on the Haw Wood site in the Cribbs Patchway New Neighbourhood area. The anticipated opening date for the new school to be September 2029, subject to meeting key milestones in the programme including (but not limited to): acquiring the identified site, obtaining planning permission and meeting the construction timelines. Progress will be monitored against the programme plan (and these key milestones) and a report will be brought back to Cabinet within the next twelve months to report on progress against the plan. ii) To delegate approval to the Executive Director of Resources and Business Change in consultation with Cabinet Member for Corporate Resources approval of detailed proposal for procurement and to award contracts for this scheme on terms and conditions as appropriate to the Executive Director of Resources and Business Change.
