Purpose: To approve the procurement of Microsoft Licensing Renewal.

Content: RESOLVED – that the Executive:   (i)             Note the importance of the proposed expenditure to the operational delivery of Reigate & Banstead Borough Council. (ii)           Approve the recommended award of contract to Phoenix Software Ltd as the Provider of Microsoft and Azure associated licences via the CCS Technology Products and Associated Services RM6098, from 1 October 2025 – 30 September 2028, with an option to extend to 30 September 2029, at a total estimated contract value of £0.675m (excluding VAT) and £0.810m (including VAT) (Clerk’s note – figures in the report were amended at Executive). (iii)         Delegate any minor adjustments and negotiation required including agreed delivery of social value, to Strategic Head of Organisation & Transformation in consultation with IT manager.
