Decision Maker: Cabinet Member Decision

Outcome:

Is Key Decision?: No

Is Callable In?: Yes

Purpose: Prior to the Large-Scale Voluntary Transfer to HomeZone Ltd (now Bromford Housing Association), Lichfield District Council (LDC) owned the freehold of 58 and 64 Cedar Close.   LDC sold the ground floor flat 58 under the right to buy by way of a 125-year lease from August 1997 at a fixed rent of £10 p.a. The freehold including the first floor flat should have passed to Bromford.   Bromford have been in contact because LDC still own part of the freehold which should have been transferred and needs to be rectified. This can be achieved by transferring the freehold interest still held by LDC to Bromford Housing Association.
