Ahead of the vehicle replacement programme other vehicles are available for council officers to use.   A council owned vehicle (registration: B5 HBC) was involved in a minor collision when parking (no other vehicles were involved) which resulted in damage to the vehicle. The vehicle is over 10 years old and completed considerable milage. The damage and value of the vehicle resulted in a decision to not repair and to scrap the vehicle as the council is currently replacing vehicles with a new fleet.
