Purpose: To seek approval to the creation of two separate contract frameworks to support the delivery of property works in respect of Housing Revenue Account (HRA) stock. 

Content: To seek approval to the creation of two separate contract frameworks to support the delivery of property works in respect of Housing Revenue Account (HRA) stock.  Agreed (i) - That Cabinet approves the implementation of a procurement exercise for the creation of a framework for the supply and fitting of kitchens and bathrooms in council owned social housing stock for a period of 4 years. Agreed (ii) - That Cabinet approves the implementation of a procurement exercise for the creation of a framework for aids and adaptations extensions to council owned social housing stock for a period of 4 years. Agreed (iii) - That Cabinet delegates authority to the Corporate Director of Housing Regeneration and Operations, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing, Planning, Improvement and Governance, to approve the procurement and appointment of contractors to the frameworks referenced in (i) and (ii) above.  Agreed (iv) - That Cabinet delegates authority to the Director of Repairs and Maintenance Service, operating in accordance with the established frameworks, to award and enter into framework agreements with the optimum contractors in accordance with the council’s agreed procurement and decision making procedures.
