Purpose: To seek approval to undertake a procurement process for the delivery of educational psychology assessment and advices as part of the statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) for children and young people with SEND aged 0-25

Content: Agreed (i) - To undertake a procurement exercise to commission external Educational Psychology services for a two year period (with the option of a further year). This will ensure statutory compliance, timely assessments, and high-quality advice to support the development of robust EHC Plans. Agreed (ii) - To grant delegated authority for the Corporate Director of Children and Families, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Children's Services, to award the contract to the successful bidder(s) on completion of the procurement exercise.
