Purpose:

Content: Decisions taken by Councillor Melvin Seymour (Deputy Leader & Cabinet Member for Adults’ Services and Health): (1)                  To declare the balance of the site not required for SL accommodation as surplus to operational requirements. (2)                  To authorise the Head of Property to finalise the terms for a s.256 charge with NHSE in respect of the part of the site to be retained for SL accommodation in line with the percentages stated at Issues 3. above.  (3)                  To authorise the interim Head of Legal Services to complete all documentation necessary to give effect to the above decisions.   Decisions taken by Councillor Cafer Munur (Cabinet Member for Place Shaping): (1)                  To authorise the Head of Property to finalise the terms for the sale of the balance of the site to BexleyCo conditional upon them developing the site in accordance with the 2020 planning consent including: a.        the final determination as to the location of the boundary between the retained land and the land to be sold b.        the grant of an easement for drainage from the site across the Council’s adjoining land at Homeleigh Hostel and c.        entry into a development agreement with BexleyCo; all such terms to be in line with the financial considerations within the Continuation Report at Exempt Appendix 1, the terms set out in the full funding business case (FFBC) report at Exempt Appendix 2 and the proposed indicative disposal plan at Appendix 3. To authorise the interim Head of Legal Services to complete all documentation necessary to give effect to the above decisions.
