Purpose:

Content: The Chair agreed to one item of urgent business in relation to Special Expenses.    The Chair indicated that the Council is seeking to develop a more equitable approach to the use of special expenses across the district and as such requested officers develop proposals and that they be brought to Cabinet at its meeting in July 26.   Town & Parish Council’s and members of the public will be consulted on specific proposals in the coming months. In addition the advice of the Scrutiny Commission will be sought in relation to the policy proposals and the Commission is asked to provide a report, setting out it’s advice to the July Cabinet meeting.
