Content: Cabinet   1.Considered the report of the Independent Remuneration Panel reviewing the Members’ Allowances Scheme for 2025–2029.   2.Considered the feedback received from Group Leaders and the comments of the Finance and Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee.   3.Noted the clarification received from the Independent Remuneration Panel regarding the Special Responsibility Allowance multipliers for the Licensing Committee Chair and Vice Chair.   RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND   4.Determined the recommendation to be made to Full Council regarding adoption of the Members’ Allowances Scheme, including whether:   •the IRP recommendations should be accepted, or •alternative proposals should be recommended.     RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND   5.Recommended a revised Members’ Allowances Scheme to Full Council for determination with one amendment, the 2nd opposition group leader to receive a special responsibility allowance where the group is made of 4 member or more and not 5 as recommended.
