Purpose: To seek approval to establish two contract frameworks; one for replacing external doors and associated canopies and cladding and one for aids and adaptations internal and external alterations, both in connection with Council owned properties.
Content: To seek approval to establish two contract frameworks; one for replacing external doors and associated canopies and cladding and one for aids and adaptations internal and external alterations, both in connection with Council owned properties. Agreed (i) - That Cabinet approves the implementation of a procurement exercise for the creation of a framework for replacing external doors and associated canopies and cladding to Council owned social housing stock for a period of 4 years. Agreed (ii) - That Cabinet approves the implementation of a procurement exercise for the creation of a framework for aids and adaptation internal and external alterations in council owned social housing stock for a period of 4 years. Agreed (iii) - That Cabinet delegates authority to the Corporate Director of Housing, Regeneration and Operations, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing, Planning, Improvement and Governance, to approve the procurement and appointment of contractors to the frameworks referenced in (i) and (ii) above. Agreed (iv) - That Cabinet delegates authority to the Corporate Director of Housing, Regeneration and Operations, operating in accordance with the established frameworks, to award and enter into call-off agreements with selected contractors in accordance with the Council’s agreed procurement and decision making procedures.
