Purpose: Officer Scheme of Delegation: General Financial Management Para 2.26 authorises the Head of Service with responsibility for Place Delivery: Subject to Financial Services confirming that sufficient funding remains and certifying that the proposed expenditure is in accordance with the terms of the relevant section 106 obligation(s), (including those related to affordable housing), permit expenditure as follows: (a) Sums up to and including £75,000 (b) Sums more than £75,000 up to and including £250,000 This request has been made by Alan Bixby. Greenspaces Business Manager. Funding totalling £40,789.45, is sought in relation to maintenance costs associated with Riverside Green Chain and play area maintenance in line with the relevant S106’s for the NE & NW Sectors. Purchase Orders where applicable are referenced in the comment’s column of the attached submitted spreadsheet. S106 Application funding is requested to be applied to fund the full amount. S106 Agreements detailed below have been identified to fund the expenditure: 04/01778/OUT, 04/02120/OUT, 03/00179/F, 03/02297/F, 04/01302/F Consultation: Hayley Davies Community Infrastructure Levy Officer and Tom Villiers Interim Capital Accountant has confirmed that the funding is available. Reason for decision: To enable the Council to deliver the management & maintenance of the area against the management plan objectives & work programme for the site in alignment with the terms of the commuted sum from the developers.
