Purpose:

Content: i)    To endorse the vision for delivery of Adult Social Care-related Age Friendly Housing with Care (Extra Care Housing) and supported living opportunities, set out in the Supported Housing Delivery Plan 2026-41 at Appendix A and  ii)   To approve the establishment of a Cross Council Supported Housing Delivery Programme to deliver that vision. iii)  To approve the Principles for an invest to save approach to capital projects in the People Department generally and for the Delivery Programme for Supported Housing specifically iv)  To note that each scheme within the initial 5-year phase of the program will be: a.    subject to a detailed options appraisal (in accordance with the Principles), and b.    subject to individual approval by the relevant Cabinet Member(s) v)            To authorise the allocation of a capital funding budget of a maximum of £3.5m for the period 2026-2031 for the purposes of delivering priority schemes
