Content: Decision made:   That the Cabinet Member (Parks, Events and Culture) approves the awarding of the contract for the work to take place on Lever House Green, for the sum of £35,584.20 inclusive of VAT. This is within the overall budget approved for the project.   Reasons for recommendations:   The awarding of a contract for work of intermediary value requires an Executive Member Decision.   Other options considered and rejected:   The Council could choose not to do this project. However, this would mean that a budget specifically set up for improvements to small parks would not get fully utilised.
