Purpose: The Council have been using MHR to provide the HR and Payroll System (iTrent) and the intention is to have a further contract for 5 years which will ensure continuity and stability of processes coming up to LGR and during LGR’s implementation stage. The iTrent system processes essential processes such as all staff payroll, annual leave, sickness absence management, PDRs, end to end recruitment and the ESS (Employee Self Service) function to the Council.
Content: The Council have been using MHR to provide the HR and Payroll System (iTrent) and the intention is to have a further contract for 5 years which will ensure continuity and stability of processes coming up to LGR and during LGR’s implementation stage. The iTrent system processes essential processes such as all staff payroll, annual leave, sickness absence management, PDRs, end to end recruitment and the ESS (Employee Self Service) function to the Council. The decision to stay with MHR followed a compliant procurement process and Commercial Board approval. MHR would provide consistency and stability to critical HR and Payroll processes supporting the Council through a period of significant change with LGR. This will safeguard against the provision and delivery of essential processes such as ensuring all staff are paid correctly and managed appropriately through the current process provisions available on iTrent
