Content: To ensure the new solution is fit for purpose, and has the functionality Homeless  Services require and from an ICT perspective it fulfills the ICT standards /  requirements around security;  transfer of data etc. Key Decision taken by the Strategic Director (Neighbourhoods) to award a Direct Award via G Cloud 14 Framework Lot 2 (Cloud Software) to Huume to deliver a new IT Homelessness solution which has:   •           H-CLIC automated reporting (supporting amounts of funding received) •           Legally supported data flows to minimise user errors. •           Improved online access for customers to streamline engagement with Housing Solutions including uploading and accessing key information •           Improved information access across the Council and key partners to speed up provision of relevant case information. •           Improved reporting functionality •           More efficient use of staff time; modern and flexible ways of working •           Increased staff and customer satisfaction •           Secure storage of and personal data to better meet GDPR •           Become more digital, agile, and effective •           Improve the standard and quality of service to users   The reason for this decision is to ensure the new Homelessness Services cloud based solution is fit for purpose, has the functionality Homelessness Services require to manage day to day operations and from an ICT perspective fulfils the ICT standards / requirements around security; transfer of data etc.
