Content: To review and decide on the making of a Public Spaces Protection Order to address Antisocial Behaviours in the City Centre Approval of the making of a City Centre Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) to prevent – · Consumption of alcohol · Urination and defecation · Escape of commercial waste · Health and/or safety risks related to obstruction and tents or structures   The Strategic Director (Neighbourhoods) is satisfied that the conditions as set out in section 59 of the Act have been met and that by extending and varying the PSPO, this will prohibit and require specified activities be carried out by persons to ensure compliance with the Orders. In order to make the decision for the PSPO the following has been taken into consideration:  Consultation responses from the consultation undertaken from 18 May 2026 to 14 June 2026· The Equality Impact Assessment · Proposals for the PSPO that were endorsed at Communities and Equalities Scrutiny Committee on 1 July 2026
