Purpose:
Content: To adopt the Age Friendly Strategy as presented in Appendix 1, and its alignment to the WHO Age Friendly Communities Framework. To support the development of an Age Friendly Partnership to support and oversee the delivery of actions and approaches across South Gloucestershire Council. To ask officers to work together, and with partners, to finalise and implement the draft Action plan in response to the recommendations set out within the report. To recognise that the engagement of, and coproduction with, people with lived experience is central to delivering the strategy, alongside the views and aspirations of younger people for their own later life. To delegate to the Service Director Commissioning, Housing and Partnership to put in place, alongside a range of partners, mechanisms to support that engagement and coproduction
