The Strategic Director (Gropwth and Development) agrees to implement the Work and Skills Prevention Programmes approved by the Executive on 6 July 2026, which includes:-   ·            To set out plans for the implementation of the full £2.736m?funding from the Prevention Fund up to?31 March 2029?approved by Executive.   ·            To commence implementation of  commissioning for apprenticeship and youth unemployment focused programmes to the value of £0.728m.   ·            To commence implementation of  commissioning for the Skills and Career Progression programme to the value of £1.37m.   ·            To commence the implementation of Manchester Adult Education Service Level 4 and 5 Skills offer to the value of £0.640m   The programmes approved by the Executive on 6 July 2026 are designed to address existing labour market challenges using Prevention Funding and in doing so, develop the evidence and business case for further investment.
