Purpose: Report setting out Lawn Tennis Association offer of funding to improve tennis courts at Kingswood/Page Parks and current position/recommendation

Content: Resolved:      The Council declines the LTA offer of investment.   Option 3 allows the tennis courts at Page Park and Kingswood Park to be free to use and will not reduce sporting / exercise opportunities for residents. The Council will continue to maintain the existing courts and manage risks accordingly including any deterioration in the condition of the courts. The Council will prioritise future improvements as and when funding opportunities become available. The Council will work with Kingswood Town Council and Staple Hill and Mangotsfield Parish Council to explore opportunities to improve the condition of the courts, increase tennis participation and ensure the courts remain free to use.
