Purpose: To award a new contract for car park enforcement across district council owned car parks to the winning bidder in a PCR complaint procurement exercise carried out by Staffordshire County Council on behalf of Lichfield District Council, for a period of 2 years (1 April 2025 – 31 March 2027) with the option to extend for a further year until 31 March 2028, subject to a 10-day standstill period.
Content: To award a new contract for car park enforcement across district council owned car parks to the winning bidder in a PCR complaint procurement exercise carried out by Staffordshire County Council on behalf of Lichfield District Council, for a period of 2 years (1 April 2025 – 31 March 2027) with the option to extend for a further year until 31 March 2028, subject to a 10-day standstill period. 2.1 Lichfield District Council currently commissions district council car park enforcement services from Stoke-on-Trent City Council. 2.2 The current contract needs to be replaced by 1 April 2025 and the council has carried out a PCR compliant tendering exercise in partnership with Staffordshire County Council, Stafford Borough Council and Cannock Chase District Council. 2.3 The process included evaluation of three potential suppliers on the grounds of price and quality and it is recommended that the council awards the contract to the winning bidder, subject to a 10-day standstill period.
