Purpose: A recommission of the West Midlands Residential Frame work which is being led by Coventry City Council.

Content: A recommission of the West Midlands Residential Frame work which is being led by Coventry City Council. Agreed (i) - That approval is given to continue to collaborate with regional colleagues and the WM Commissioning Hub to develop and procure the new WM Residential Framework from 16 December 2024 for a period of up to 10 years. Agreed (ii) - That approval is given to continue to utilise the current WM Residential Framework that is due to end on 15 December 2024. Agreed (iii) - That approval is given to enter a SPOT arrangement with providers from the 16 December until the start of the new contract if Birmingham Children’s Trust do not extend the existing Framework. Agreed (iv) - That Cabinet delegate authority to the Director for Children and Family Services, in consultation with the S151 Officer and Cabinet Member for Children's Services, to approve all necessary arrangements in connection with entering into a SPOT arrangement with providers in respect of the West Midlands Residential Framework if the existing Framework is not extended.
