Purpose:

Content: The Council adopts a hybrid system of fixed and mobile cameras. The Council adopts governance principles in line with the Government Code of Practice to ensure that the location and deployment of cameras are based on crime data and identified need. The Council provides cameras at two car parks (Gayton Road and Felixstowe Road adjacent to Abbey Station) on the basis of crime data and identified need. The Council provides sufficient resources to ensure the new system is effectively managed.
