Content: The Cabinet considered a report of the Director of Children’s Services which sought approval to enter into a partnership agreement with the other nine Councils in Greater Manchester (GM) and with the GM Combined Authority to increase the availability of residential placements for the most vulnerable children in the region.   The report author was in attendance to present the information and to address the questions and the comments of the Cabinet Members.   Resolved that the recommendations outlined at section 2 of the report be approved.   Reason for decision: As outlined at section 3.1 – 3.3 of the report.   Alternatives considered and rejected: As outlined at section 4 of the report.
